EnergyNetiQ Energy Cell for Domestic Heating
Lead Participant:
ENERGYNETIQ LIMITED
Abstract
A project to build a new energy cell based heating system which would amplify the efficiency of existing electric hot water systems by three times.
It is hoped that the project will produce prototypes usable in the UK home. On the road to zero's challenges domestic heating is one of the most difficult to achieve with known solutions leading to energy poverty as gas systems are switched to electricity or heat pumps. This project will give a potential solution for gas conversion.
The energy cell could be extended for other markets such as industrial heating and cooling, capture of bio gases and helping to produce low carbon hydrogen.
