Rivar App - Algorithmic Tag, Search and Recommend

Lead Participant: VOLUMETRIC VIDEO LTD

Abstract

**Volumetric Video Ltd** (Volvid) brings musicians and celebrities closer to their audience using AI-enabled, live streaming volumetric video in '3D' augmented reality for the first time via our consumer facing mobile app called 'Rivar'. We hope to stimulate a new economy and culture for creative industries in an innovative new market for volumetric video capture that is globally expected to grow to $6.45bn by 2027 at a CAGR of 29.3%. Rivar enables audiences to engage with live performances and presentations in 3D AR on flat surfaces such as floors, tables, pavements or playgrounds through wifi or 4G and 5G. Live events are then archived to build the world's largest content library of volumetric video entertainment within Rivar.

Grant funding enables Volvid to develop specific Search and Recommendation functionality to improve the User Experience that will generate revenue by helping users to access content that is relevant to them. Volvid's vision will be to develop granularity in the metadata tagging of performances to enable swift and personalised product search for the benefit of Users, Owners and Content Creators.
