Abstract
Magneto-structural correlations of polymetallic clusters containing paramagnetic d-block and/or f-block metal ions. The project involves synthesising and characterising high symmetry 0D molecules, 2D sheets and 3D networks of paramagnetic transition metal and lanthanide metal ions that display geometric spin frustration effects that will lead to some unusual and potentially useful low temperature physics.
