Aim 2: Enhancement of long-term CBM towards climate change adaptation and community relocation. Objectives:
Develop a tangible tool that can be used by the Tuktoyaktuk to identify suitable locations for infrastructure development (e.g. interactive hazard map). Collect high quality environmental data at locations susceptible to climate impacts. Develop and validate low-cost field equipment and tools that can be left with the Tuktoyaktuk community to monitor long-term landscape changes. Provide the Tuktoyaktuk community with full access to data. Encourage Tuktoyaktuk community members to use data they collect to make evidence informed decisions for community infrastructure relocation.
