Abstract
Waterblade is exploring how little water can be used to give a great hand wash. Hand Washing has always been important for good hygiene, and never more so now as a means to slow the spread of covid.
This is not just about improving an already effective water saving product. If we can make the 'Blade' in our Waterblade thin enough, and spread it out further over your hands, by using two blades for example, it should be comfortable to use from the cold tap.
This means no longer needing to wait for the hot water, and savings on your water and water heating bills. It means we can help people all over the world wash their hands hygienically without the capital expense of boilers and the legionella risks of hot water pipework.
The time for change in this sector is here and now. The drivers have never been stronger. Socially the need to achieve net Zero has never been better understood. Environmentally the drivers have never been stronger. Water stress, energy price rises and climate change.
