Description | The research endeavoured to examine and develop a framework for business support in the context of the environment at the time. The research identified exemplars (good practice for engagement in ICT development and business support) and benchmarked the Black Business Population and at the time stakeholders. Of the 10 exemplar businesses identified 3 businesses were supported and engaged in eProcurement tendering but not in the Birmingham region as planned but with Councils north of Birmingham. A further two businesses after the deadline of the research also have tendered and had success in wining small but important procurement opportunities. |
Exploitation Route | The findings in the Birmingham research were applied in the East Midlands as part of a Leicestershire S2P Project led by DMU academics. |
