Abstract
This project will provide a fully searchable, web-based database which describes in detail the papers of the Victorian actress, Ellen Terry (1847-1928) and her daughter, the theatre director, Edith Craig (1869-1947) held by the National Trust at Smallhythe Place. A descriptive catalogue will also be published in book format, derived from the database.
