NowDoctor - an innovative web-platform to transform the private healthcare market

UbiClinic (rebranded from NowDoctor) is an innovative web-based room booking platform that will offer private practitioners the opportunity to book treatment rooms in affiliate clinics. By reducing one of the main barriers to private practice – a lack of suitable space – we will encourage a broader and more diverse range of clinicians to take their first steps into private practice.

Cash-strapped clinics also stand to benefit by unlocking additional income from underutilised treatment rooms. Attracting a broader range of private practitioners to a clinic will lead to a variety of services available to patients, making their clinics into a more attractive offering.

The UbiClinic platform will handle all aspects of room management for clinics – namely listing rooms, setting availability, accepting or rejecting prospective bookings, validation of practitioner credentials, billing and payout. It will also make it easy for practitioners to find their ideal treatment room – with searching, shortlisting, booking and payment all on the platform. There will be a mutual review system to ensure credibility. By streamlining what is already a tedious manual process, we will ensure that practitioners find the rooms they want, and clinics find the practitioners that they can trust.
