Abstract
The Internet BoomBox is an innovative internet media device designed for blind/visually
impaired
people to access the internet. It builds on the latest Android operating system with advanced
voice recognition programming. The users will be able to easily navigate with the specially
designed hardware interface. The Internet BoomBox will bring a whole new social media
experience to blind/visually impaired users, by allowing them to take part in social
networking platforms and interacting with other users with voice. It will also allow users to
access more talking newspapers, talking books, and talking websites beyond their local
scheme from an user-friendly central device.
