CMT: novel platform technology for eliminating plastic packaging used for bathroom toiletries
Lead Participant:
BUBBLELIFE LTD
Abstract
INNOVATEUK funding brings together a UK-SME and a UK Catapult Centre, CPI.
This collaboration aims to remove all plastic packaging from all UK bathrooms.
This is a new technology with potential to disrupt packaging supply chains, where the cost of Waste Management is obviated by a better environmental solution.
We will improve consumer choice and lower transport emissions, as well as, improving UK resilience by reducing dependency on plastic packaging imports.
Plastics recycling is not working, we simply need to stop manufacturing plastics.
CMT climbs to the top of the waste hierarchy to give the UK this opportunity.
