Abstract
"Keep-On-Keep-Up (KOKU) is a state of the art, cost-effective technology that draws on health behaviour change theory and gamification to increase adherence to falls prevention exercises. It engages older adults in health promoting strategies to support bone health, hydration, continence and home safety modifications. KOKU does not require clinicians to assess, oversee or monitor use.
The objectives of this project are to: (1) Build on our current version of the technology using feedback from current trials; (2) Ensure regulatory, security and safety approvals for UK and Global market; (3) Explore behaviour data analytics and AI capabilities for further personalisation to increase adherence and feedback on usage; (4) Commercialise the system and begin to generate revenue through sales."
