Abstract
UCL Railway Research Group is one of the leading research organisations and conducts unique yet high-impact research for urban railway operations and engineering. The group is working with railway operators, infrastructure managers and policy organisations around the world.
The project involves analysis of train service dwell times and optimisation of passenger boarding. The project involves big data analytics. The project will include placements at partner organisations. This would provide the student with opportunities to not only work on the data held by the partners but also to understand the business operations of railway organisations and build people networks.
