Abstract
Although a lot of Computer Vision problems have been addressed and successfully solved in
the past two decades, a lot more have arise or remain unsolved. Having studied and worked on face
alignment and 3D reconstruction in the past year, as well as being part of a project of collecting a
large scale database of 3D facial data, through my Ph.D.studies, I will be working on 3D analysis
and modeling of the face and possibly of other parts of the human body, as for example the hands
or the human body as a whole, trying to develop new models and approaches towards solving some
of the open problems in the field of Computer Vision
Research area: computer vision
