Abstract

The student, Mr Bright, work on both the acquisition and modelling of radio observations of a range of high-energy/transient astrophysical phenomena, including accrediting stellar mass black holes and tidal disruption events. Initially he will work with the AMI-LA telescope, and subsequently with MeerKAT.
