Behaviour Change Interventions to increase citizen participation in reuse and refill systems
Lead Participant:
THE WASTE AND RESOURCES ACTION PROGRAMME
Abstract
This project will help us understand the barriers and opportunities to using and planning for instore refill systems, including how citizens change their shopping behaviours when using the systems, for what products, and how we can help them embed these behaviours to become sustainable habits that ultimately help reduce the amount of plastic packaging. This is turn can provide greater confidence for investment by providing greater certainty around the level of citizen engagement.
