Quantum materials under pressure
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
Hydrostatic pressure is emerging as a useful tuning parameter for investigating instabilities and quantum order in correlated electron systems or topological materials. This project will use high pressure/low temperature/high magnetic field studies to examine, unconventional superconductivity and the associated anomalous normal state in iron-based and rare-earth based materials.
