Morpheus Fluid - Accurate Meshless Computational Fluid Dynamics

Abstract
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is being increasingly used worldwide to accelerate the design and optimisation of everything from flood defence barriers and aeroplane wings to jet engines and inkjet printers. Future Market Insights forecast that the global CFD market will be worth US$5.7 Billion by 2033\. This is currently dominated by several large players, all of whom used methods based on 'meshes'. For problems with complex geometry and/or moving parts, mesh building can be extremely time consuming, taking up to months of expert time for the most challenging problems.
Morpheus Fluid have developed an exciting new state-of-the-art CFD solution that completely eliminates the need to build a mesh. While such mesh-free CFD methods are not new, previous methods are inaccurate and unable to model important classes of problem like turbulent flow. This has meant that they have been restricted to a small number of niche tasks for which accuracy is not critical. Morpheus have demonstrated that they can successfully model a turbulent vortex with Reynolds number, strong shocks, and a host of other challenging validation problems. This opens-up the possibility of using Morpheus as a complete replacement for CFD calculations that currently rely on meshes.
Morpheus' value proposition is straightforward: by providing a tool that allows for faster, more accurate, and less labour-intensive fluid simulations, Morpheus can help companies innovate, optimise their products and processes, and ultimately save time and money. Morpheus is designed to be beneficial to industries ranging from modelling fluid flow around moving barriers, gears and rotating blades and similar, to water flow along channels and around dams, to air flow around cars and wings. Avoiding the need to build a mesh makes it easier for both expert and non- expert simulators to perform calculations, saving costs in staff expertise and time. Morpheus aims to disrupt the market of largely mesh-based CFD calculations, offering an accurate mesh-free alternative, for the first time.
