Abstract

The innovation that comes from the research into attitude control systems will allow for efficient positioning and stabilisation of a wide variety of platforms. This is achievable as the system currently in development is very scalable, meaning the same principals that can be used to control the heading of a small unmanned aerial vehicles can also be used to stabilising marine vessels. Greater efficiency comes from the system being less power intensive than existing systems while also being lighter.
