Certchain Limited (Certchain) is a UK cyber technology SME with a core project team of Sam Chamberlain (Project/Sustainability Lead), Stephen Holt (Technical/Commercial Lead) and Mike Tankard (Advisor). Certchain is seeking funding to develop the world's first cost-effective, blockchain-based, on-demand qualification and standards verification platform to enable the prevention of recruitment fraud. By providing an end-to-end method that uses sophisticated blockchain and swarm analysis techniques, Certchain aims to reduce HR process costs and generate savings for companies in the time taken to conduct background checks or expenditure on third-party background checking companies. Additionally, its use of a digital, immutable technology will help prevent unconscious bias towards candidates of diverse ethnicities or from poorer backgrounds.
