Abstract
In times of extreme variability related to climate and anthropogenic forcing, monitoring change is becoming a substantial issue. The growth in citizen science is generating a rich source of new big environmental data. The project aims to enhance this national digital capability by producing low-cost and effective monitoring which has the potential to work in a transformative manner providing an early warning of demographic issues surfacing in wld birds that sit at the top trophic level within terrestial eco systems.
