Abstract
The SOMI Trailer has the potential to save many thousands of truck journeys every
year by carrying 8 extra pallets underneath. It will save 150t of CO2 per truck used and
the US market is ripe for an innovation such as the SOMI to take half a million trucks off
their roads and still deliver all the goods. To gain a foothold in the market this project will
assist SOMI in getting there and faster. SOMI has won many awards and the prospect of
exports to the USA is exciting!
