AI Powered Waste Insights & Reporting

Lead Participant: INTELLIVATE LIMITED

Abstract

Intellibin is set to revolutionise waste management through an innovative project aimed at developing cutting-edge waste analytics and reporting solutions. Our goal is to create a market-leading waste reduction algorithm and an automated reporting system that offers real-time insights and predictive analytics to optimise waste collection processes. This project aligns with the UK's sustainability goals and fosters innovation in waste management.

Depending on their waste management supplier, customers get a range of waste data, but it is time-consuming and difficult to standardise this data, identify trends, and report accurately. Intellibin is developing a reporting tool that will allow customers to upload their waste documentation, extract and model the relevant waste data, and produce a standardised model of waste movements. Furthermore, Intellibin is developing an enhanced waste disposal model, providing accurate emissions data and outcomes regardless of the haulier, so that customers can accurately and easily report their waste outcomes, reduce their emissions, and report waste compliance with ease.

This reporting tool will be further enhanced by leveraging Intellbin's waste waste monitoring devices to use real-time actual waste weight data, providing precise and auditable waste data to provide actionable insights that help businesses and public bodies forecast waste levels, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for waste reduction.

Collaboration is a key aspect of our approach. Our human-centered design approach involves engaging with local waste management companies and public institutions to tailor our solution to real-world needs.

The anticipated outcomes of the project include significant economic, environmental, and social benefits. By optimising waste collection routes and reducing unnecessary collections, we expect to lower operational costs and CO2 emissions, contributing to a greener environment. Enhanced waste reporting will support compliance with sustainability regulations, and our technology will help detect rough sleepers in bins, improving public safety.

Overall, Intellibin's project will drive innovation in the waste management sector, positioning the UK as a leader in smart waste technologies. The project will create high-quality jobs, support local businesses, and foster a culture of sustainability. By securing this funding, we will unlock the full potential of our technology, ensuring long-term value and impact for all stakeholders involved.
