Abstract
A study into the cultural contexts of music making at Wimbourne Minster in the 18th Century, exploring its relationship to other provincial settings and the wider artistic climate of the time. The Research will draw on the rich archival material including musical part books and church and school records detailing the life of the choir of the Minster.
