The Battery Bank

We are a UK start-up, founded by renewable energy and international development professionals to produce a rental battery pack system to supply electricity in rural Africa for charging mobile phones and running lights in locations where there is no access to grid electricity. This system can be co-located with wells to share costs, using the scheme to provide an income stream for maintenance of the wells, and thereby providing users with access to electricity and water in an environmentally and commercially sustainable way.
