CrOss PlAtform SAtellite Broadband INstall Application (COPASABINA)

The CrOss PlAtform SAtellite Broadband INstAll system (COPASABINA) project aims to develop a pre-operational software system that will enable Ka-band satellite broadband installs to be fully completed and commissioned using a smartphone for convenience (instead of bulky laptops) as well as take advantage of the advanced capabilities and sensors in modem smartphones to reduce the number of specialist equipment required for an install. COPASABINA system will shorten the typical “time-to-install” and simplify the install process so that it can be carried out by a general-purpose handyman rather than a certified or accredited installer who are more expensive.
