Non-Gaussiantity in the Cosmic Microwave Background

Abstract
The project will involve working within the Simons Observatory (SO) collaboration to constrain non-Gaussianity using the MODAL pipeline. This will involve several phases: First the code will have to be upgraded and validated at the higher resolution of SO data. The code will then be expanded to cover a larger range of primordial models and to measure several late time effects which will need to be accounted for. The code will also need to be prepared for public release. In addition to the SO focused work, we expect to connect to similar projects in our group in both Large Scale Structure, specifically cross correlations of Galaxy's with lensing reconstructions, and work to efficiently calculate non-Gaussian signatures from inflationary models.
