Syndi – An integrated digital health platform to enhance self-management of mental health conditions improving the personalisation of care, health outcomes and accessibility.
Lead Participant:
SYNDI LTD
Abstract
The focus of the project has now shifted to testing how users engage with digital health tools in a real-world setting, with an emphasis on prevention. The project will continue to use the Syndi technology developed so far, but will present the underlying algorithms through a slightly different interface to the users. The new plan is to:
Integrate the Syndi app into the HealthKey platform to support personalised mental health assessments, using assessments such as PHQ-9 or GAD-7, currently used by the Syndi platform.
Offer each participant a tailored bundle of pre-paid health services based on their assessment results. The bundle will be constructed taking into consideration the results of the assessment, as well as a cap of £15/user/3-months. The services we are considering as part of the bundle generation are:
3 online therapy sessions, offered by MyNurva
Healthy habit coaching, offered by HollyHealth
Mental health fitness app, offered by Mindstep
Stress and anxiety coach, offered by InsideOut
Mental health guidance from experts and lived experiences, offered by JAAQ
Cogs subscription for 3 months (for neurodiverse users)
Voda subscription for 3 months (for LGBTQIA+ users)
24/7 access to a virtual GP, provided by Abi Global
Run a three-month pilot with around 1,000 users through a single leisure centre, such as Kirklees Active Leisure or Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust, supported by the ‘This Labs’ platform.
Collect qualitative feedback and self-reported data on user experience, satisfaction, and perceived impact, including a short wellbeing scale.
This approach moves away from clinical testing and instead looks at how people actually use and benefit from digital tools in everyday settings.
