Abstract
The award enabled me to complete my research for a book on the history of the FBI, and a short monograph on the idea of a European FBI.
The award further enabled me (I) to complete a first draft of the book, and to rewrite that draft to bring it up to publishable standard (II) to write an assay on the historiography of the FBI and (III) to write the short monograph on the idea of a European FBI.
