Gamma Ray Astronomy with the Cherenkov Telescope Array
Lead Research Organisation:
Durham University
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
The student will be involved in the construction, implementation and operation on the GCT telescopes for the Cherenkov Telescope Array. This will involve work on instrumentation, simulations, software and data analysis as well as field trips. He will also work on a science topic of his choice relevant to CTA's future operation.
