Abstract
BrandBox is an affordable online tool, targeted at SMEs, that enables users to create brand logos.
A fundamental building block for every business and product is a strong brand identity that reflects company values and resonates with target audiences. Creating a logo in-house is usually far trickier than anticipated whilst hiring a graphic designer can feel like an excessive expense, particularly for small companies.
Our application will supersede the logo generators currently in market by focussing on quality wordmark-led designs that shun 'clutter' and empirically match the design tastes and preferences of the user.
The application will be underpinned by a machine-learning (ML) predictive model that identifies relationships between well known, real-world logos and a curated database of 3000+ fonts. Further algorithms will determine form and colour treatments providing users with a series of congruent logos which they will be able to fine-tune.
Upon its completion, BrandBox will be paired with our name generation tool to create a unified platform - a one stop shop where SMEs can inexpensively create agency quality brand identities in an instructive and engaging environment.
