We propose a workshop which will initially explore common themes applicable IB and agriculture; this would be followed by break-out groups to examine specific themes of interest.

Description A detailed report of the findings was submitted to BBSRC. This covered the problems & challenges relating to human disease, agriculture, animal diseases/aquaculture, antimicrobial resistance and nutrition in the developing world. Potential solutions and recommendations were suggested in the report.
Exploitation Route A detailed report of the findings and our recommendations of how this should be taken forward was submitted to BBSRC. Recommendations including developing partnerships between scientists in the UK and the developing world to work in the following areas: DISCOVERY OF NEW BIOACTIVES, NEW SUSTAINABLE IB APPROACHES AND PROCESSES FOR LOW COST PRODUCTION OF BIOACTIVES and TRAINING, INFORMED DECISION MAKING
