Department Name: Plant Sciences
Abstract
This study will investigate the efficacy of various genetic approaches to increase crossover frequency and unlock chromosomal regions of recombination suppression.
The aim of this research is to facilitate the independent segregation of a gene or QTL of interest in the genome of a critical crop species.
