Protecting behaviour change

Abstract
Our voucher will be used to provide patent and other protections for the innovative algorithms and approaches used in our novel approach to the treatment of bedwetting. 1 in 12 children wet the bed regularly at four and a half years old (regularly is defined as at least twice a week), 1 in 40 children wet the bed regularly at seven and a half years old, 1 in 65 children wet the bed regularly at nine and a half years old. Whilst it can be part of a normal developmental phase, and waiting is the initial treatment, it can be distressing for the patient and carers, and can continue for many months. Our approach should allow non-medical intervention with a more effective behavioural outcome, so avoids the side effects of drug-based approaches and provides immediate relief and better behavioural training for the patient.
