Abstract
Dundee: A Smart Future will deliver a comprehensive feasibility study that focuses on the potential to develop and utilise a wide range of integrated city systems to support the growth of the city's economy, creating jobs and providing opportunities for local people. The project has 3 key actions:
1. Waterfront Regeneration: enhance existing investment in the regeneration of Dundee's waterfront using the available funding to build in the technologies required to help reduce energy consumption and make the sites attractive to investors through the inclusion of high-tech solutions to energy, ICT,
2. Make information on the city accesible to all using technology and interactive systems so that it can be used to support the development of new services and address need.
3. Engage companies that are creating innovative new products & provide them with the opportunity to test those products & services through engaging with local people & on site in test environments.
