Link homotopy in dimension four

Abstract
A surface link map is a map from a disjoint union of closed oriented surfaces into the 4-sphere such that the images of distinct connected components are disjoint. The project is to study the space of such link maps. In particular, the primary goal is the classification of 3 component spherical link maps up to link homotopy, that is homotopy through link maps.
