Abstract
The aim of this project is to work on Anti-microbial coatings on Glass. The project is co-sponsored by NSG (Pilkington Glass). The work will involve making new transparent coatings on glass by sol-gel, CVD and spray methods. The coatings will be evaluated by XRD, Raman, XPS and SEM/EDX analysis. Functional testing will involve antimicrobial studies.
