Abstract
For my PhD research project I am going to be working alongside Dr. Yeshpal Singh in the Strontium group on the EU iq Clock project*. The aim of the project is to create a field-ready strontium optical clock which will have a modular design in a robust package. The targeted stability of the clock will be such that it would go wrong by only 1 second in 100 million years. The clock will be benchmarked in real use cases, such as network synchronization (TRL 6).
