Abstract
Three-dimensional nanomagnets could have a revolutionary impact in our society [1], due to their potential to form new types of non-volatile, ultra-dense, low-power computing memories. A paradigmatic example is the vertical racetrack memory [2,3], where a train of magnetic domain walls or skyrmions act as mobile data bits, storing and processing information in a single electronic memory cell on an integrated circuit.
