Abstract
The Sliding Discrete Fourier Transform has been neglected as a musical
tool. Our recent work on reconstruction has indicated that we are
close to the time when the computational cost will be acceptable. We
propose investigating the musical implications of the SDFT, and to
develop new mathematical results to support them.
