Abstract

The proposed research will aim to understand the role civil society actors play in asylum support. The research questions are:
1.How do civil society actors operate within the context of asylum support?
2.How and why civil society support for asylum-seekers differs in character and extent across the UK's dispersal cities?
3.How is the role civil society actors play in asylum support perceived by civil society actors and asylum-seekers?
