| Description | Using mass spectrometry techniques, additional information about gut hormones has been uncovered and methods have been developed for previously undetected peptides in blood and cell cultures. The improvement in sensitivity and detection has lead to a better understanding of gut hormone levels in both healthy and disease state individuals - including obese, diabetic and post gastric surgery groups.
