Abstract
Thrips cause considerable damage to horticultural crops throughout Europe and other countries. New research has demonstrated that certain strains of fungi have significant potential to control thrips in strawberries, thus reducing the use of chemical insecticides and enabling more environmentally-friendly strategies for pest control.
