| Description | This was an international partnering award that funded travel of researchers between Toronto (Canada) and Cardiff (UK). Academics and researchers (PhD student and Post-doctoral research assistant) took part in exchange visits. The techniques learnt have been taken up by the other labs in the partnership, and have led to one publication to date. |
| Exploitation Route | This was a knowledge exchange project, however since learning and building on the specific techniques, we have distributed the protocol to labs in worldwide, and they have switched their working practices. The methods were optimised for Drosophila, but have been used in pest insects including moths and mosquitos. |
