Transparent donation distribution and spending system

Lead Participant: HUMANVENTURE LTD

Abstract

Donations represent a major means of supporting people in poverty (\>700 million globally - the World Bank). Lack of transparency because of process inefficiency and corruption causes to 12-40% of donations being lost (Transparency International UK) affecting givers' trust.

HumanVenture's mission is to contribute to poverty reduction via more transparent and efficient relationships among participants of the donation market.

The HumanVenture platform is one of the pioneering technological solutions for transparent donation distribution and traceable spending assisting stakeholders of the donations market to track, verify, and measure impact.

They estimate the UK donation market is worth around GBP10bn, with around 168,000 charities, 18.3% of which focus on social services. International donations market of EU, USA and Asia exceeds USD500bn.

Studies show a potential 53-64% market increase with increased levels of transparency. The market of digital transparent donation platforms is far from saturation: only one significantly similar project is identifiable.

Based on recent success in Austria and Russia and being included in the DIT's Global Entrepreneur Programme, HumanVenture seeks to develop its business and headquarters in the UK.

HumanVenture's solution includes:

* blockchain-based transparent donation distribution and spending platform not based on cryptocurrencies
* spending cards for donation recipients
* real-time impact tracking, verification and measurement
* exclusion of recipients' spending on health-damaging goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.)

Positive effects for the UK donation industry:

* 100% donation transparency results in increased donations inflows
* traceable poverty reduction
* increased efficiency
* contribution to the UK's reinvention as a global financial and technological centre for sustainability

Impact upon people in poverty:

* receipt of 100% of donated aid
* increased volume of aid
* inclusion of unbanked people and people without smartphones
* freedom of spending choice (as opposed to aid in-kind)
* facilitation of easier socio-economic reintegration for those in challenging life circumstances

Finally, HumanVenture benefits stakeholders (charities, recipients, donors, suppliers of goods&services to recipients) by creating financially efficient relationships.

Further evolution of the product implies diversification covering other SDGs (healthcare, education, basic energy needs, etc.)

The objective of this application is making the first step towards the UK market entry via feasibility study, legal®ulatory clearance, commercial planning and a pilot. The project has a defined plan with determined outcomes. HumanVenture's team has deep expertise in business, finance, IT and blockchain.

If successful, HumanVenture will become one of the leading digital donation and impact measuring platforms with substantial contribution to poverty reduction for the benefit of donation market participants, the nation, and society.
