ElecTra Delivery Resilience

Abstract

The ElecTra project aims to provide a breakthrough in drivetrain electrification in agricultural vehicles by reducing complex mechanical drivetrain systems, increase efficiency, maximising performance and reducing overall emissions from the vehicle. The technology will also have the flexibility for exploitation in other heavy duty vehicle applications.

SR Technology is undertaking:

* research and development for the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) hardware
* Build and supply of the necessary VCU hardware
* VCU testing and support of integrated powertrain testing
* Support with integration of the demonstrator vehicle

This additional element of the project aims to provide additional support for the set up of a more adaptable and resilient design environment for the development of a Hybrid Vehicle Control Unit (HVCU), to allow the ElecTra project to be delivered more effectively. It will enable the engineering team at SR Technology Innovations to work in a more flexible manner to support the needs of our staff and project partners whether at our premises, working at home or in the field. This will largely be achieved through enhancement of IT infrastructure, allowing better integration of development tools with remote access and data gathering from prototype vehicle drivetrains being tested by our project partners.
