Paediatric Music-based Audiometry
Lead Participant:

Abstract
Children presenting with communication disorders can be hard to diagnose via headphone audiology. They may have difficulty staying still, wearing headphones, and responding to 'uninteresting' sounds---in fact some children will only respond to their favourite songs. We are developing a new music-based audiometer that can address these issues by delivering a system that provides interesting dynamic stimuli while still accurately quantifying audiometric thresholds.
