BioNet: Novel approach to enable comprehensive environmental monitoring for English Fruit Growers
Lead Participant:
AGRISOUND LIMITED
Abstract
This project will assess the feasibility of using a novel sound processing approach to enable low-cost, low-bandwidth transmission of sound data using innovative satellite networks to enable biodiversity monitoring across farms. Initially focusing on identification of pollinating insects, the project will develop and assess the novel technique for sound data transmission. Agrisound Ltd, with proprietary acoustic processing techniques, is collaborating with Wyld Networks Ltd, with innovative satellite technology tailored to IoT systems, to create the prototype monitoring system.
