The Norwich Seeker

The Norwich Seeker presents stories in a fresh, informal way, keeping its subscribers informed and entertained. It dives behind the headlines to present clinical, well researched and unbiased facts on local issues.

It was set up in autumn 2022 by journalist Tom Bristow and has grown through word-of-mouth. It mainly focuses on environmental, health and housing issues. It has already published an investigation into how [the dental crisis][0] is impacting Norwich, revealed delays to the city's bid to [create a zero emissions zone][1] and brought to light how Anglian Water was discharging untreated sewage into the region's waterways without environmental permits.

But it hopes to do much more. Through this project the non-profit wants to double its content and quadruple its audience this year and in doing so find a new model for in-depth local reporting.
