Sustainable supply of high purity graphite
Lead Participant:
MORGANITE ELECTRICAL CARBON LIMITED
Abstract
The project combines the knowledge and skills of four partners to develop a new supply chain, providing high value thermal management materials. The expertise of the partners in applying materials science will be used to extract and refine materials derived from by-products and further process these, combination with other materials, to generate a high value product. Each of the partners brings unique experience and understanding to the project and will benefit in different ways from the creating of this supply chain. TSB funding has catalysed this area of work and allowed a springboard for further work to follow on, funded from the value generated by exploitation of these findings.
