Lead Participant: FOAMHAND LIMITED

Abstract

This project is a feasibility study, including proof of concept(POC), on the commercial viability of the

FOAMHAND Bliptrack pedestrian monitoring system to support crowd management in the major events

market.

FOAMHAND Bliptrack is an innovative system to support crowd management operations at major events,

such as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The technology behind the system will allow us to capture higher

volume and more reliable data than any system in the market. This will revolutionise infrastructure and

resource planning, logistics and operations for major events, allowing hosts and organisers to deliver

safer, more secure events whilst achieving improved budget utilisation. The system also provide

significant commercial opportunities to clients by providing them with a rich understand of pedestrian

movement, such as dwell time, areas of high density footfall, key routes and repeat visits.
